The CHILLQuiet Band, co-led by trumpeter Josh Morris and saxophonist Anneke Scace, is a contemporary jazz quintet comprised of the DMV’s leading collegiate jazz musicians. The band will perform a curated set of both original compositions and arrangements, ensuring a unique listening experience

Drawing on their connections to prestigious music programs and mentorship from celebrated jazz figures like Sean Jones, Paul Carr, Elijah Balbed, James Bazen, Alex Hamburger, and Philip Dizack, the band presents a curated set of original compositions and innovative arrangements of standards. Their modern, laid-back style breathes new life into the jazz tradition, inviting listeners into an experience that bridges generations and redefines what’s to come.
